    Self Defence Camp for Women

    In an endeavour to break gender stereotypes and to ensure that women find their inner confidence, Grand Master Akshar is on a quest to enable women to proactively empower themselves with necessary safety measures to overcome tricky situations. To that end, we, at Akshar Yoga, are organising a Self Defence Training Camp for Women on the 25th and 26th of February, 2017 between 12pm to 3pm on both dates at Tripuravasini | Palace Grounds | Bengaluru

    Event Flow on Feb 25th 2017*:

    • 12 PM – 1 PM – Warm up and Basic Stretching to avoid any injury during the workshop

    • 1 PM – 2 PM – Kicking, Punching & Blocking Techniques

    • 2 PM – 3 PM – Self Defence Methodologies to be used in a tricky situation and how to get out of the situation

    • 3 PM – Conclude for Day I

    Event Flow on Feb 26th 2017*:

    • 12 PM – 1 PM – Warm up and Basic Stretching to avoid any injury during the workshop

    • 1 PM – 2 PM – Advanced Blocking and Attacking Techniques

    • 2 PM – 3 PM – Choose a Partner and use the Defence Techniques in a controlled environment (Demonstration)

    • 3 PM – Conclude for Day II
