THE SUN CHANNEL IN HIMALAYAN WISDOM

Surya Nadi, known as the Sun channel, carries the qualities of:

  • * Agni — inner fire
  • * Tejas — brilliance and sharpness
  • * Utsāha — enthusiasm and forward movement
  • * Dharana — steadiness and clear attention
  • * Kriya Shakti — the power to act

This channel influences:

  • * breath capacity
  • * emotional strength
  • * physical vigor
  • * mental clarity
  • * digestive fire
  • * pranic circulation
  • * decisiveness and execution
  • * Wealth flow

When the Sun channel activates, a human being becomes radiant in thought and powerful in action.

HOW TO PRACTISE SURYA NADI SHODHAN
  1. Sit in stillness with the spine aligned.
  2. Close the left nostril.
  3. Inhale deeply through the right nostril, absorbing the Sun breath.
  4. Release the left nostril.
  5. Exhale through the left nostril, allowing prana to circulate.
  6. Continue this rhythm with a steady flow.

Duration:

7 minutes, morning and evening

This rhythm strengthens the right nostril, expands breath capacity, and activates the Sun channel within.
